About Us
Faith Memorial Baptist Church was founded in 1970 under the leadership of Rev. J.C. Brewer. The original church grounds were located at 2919 W. Trade Street.

"Advancing the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, One Life at a Time", Faith Memorial Baptist Church was founded in 1970 under the leadership of Rev. J.C. Brewer. The original church grounds were located at 2919 W. Trade Street. ln 1973 the property at 211 Lakewood Avenue was purchased and worship has continued there for over 40 years. Rev. Wilch Caldwell, Sr. lead the congregation for 25 years.

Spiritual Restoration & Advancement
In the authority and power of the name of Jesus Christ, we are committed to proclaiming God's love and saving grace; and empowering God's people to "have life and have it more abundantly" through Christian education, corporate worship, and community involvement.
We believe that spiritual restoration is the only way to advance in this life or the life to come By putting God first, restoring a closer relationship with Him and applying Christian principles in our lives, we will advance into the "abundant life" that God desires for us to enjoy.
